The Opticis HDHF-4K is a 1-gang wall plate HDMI & DisplayPort fiber converter designed for clean, professional AV installations requiring long-distance, uncompressed 4K video transport. It accepts either HDMI 2.0 or DisplayPort 1.2 input and converts the signal into optical HDMI 2.0, enabling 4K UHD (4096×2160) at 60Hz (4:4:4) transmission over a single LC OM3 multimode fiber.
By eliminating the need for external converters and short copper jumpers behind wall plates, the HDHF-4K simplifies installations in medical rooms, control rooms, broadcast environments, and professional AV systems. The converted optical HDMI signal is restored at the display using compatible receivers such as the Opticis HDFX-500-RX or HDFX-700-RX.
Input selection is handled via a DIP switch, allowing installers to choose between HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 sources. Three integrated LED indicators provide immediate visual confirmation of power status and active input signal.
