All the USB complexity is taken care of by our robust API. Applications

Phidget Analog 4-Output (1002)
The PhidgetAnalog 4-Output Produces a voltage over -10V to +10V. This voltage will be asserted up to +-20mA. An error will be reported when this current is exceeded, and the voltage the customer is getting is no longer accurate. The voltage is produced with 12 bit resolution (4.8mV).

Phidget Interface Kit 0/16/16 Digital Input/Output #1012
The new version of the 1012 PhidgetInterfaceKit 0/16/16 has built-in filtering on the digital input, to eliminate false triggering from electrical noise. The digital input is first RC filtered by a 15K/100nF node, which rejects noise of higher frequency than 1Khz. This filter generally eliminates the need to shield the digital input from inductive and capacitive coupling likely to occur in wiring harnesses.

Phidget Linear Touch #1015
The Phidget Linear Touch detects changes in the capacitance between the on-board electrodes and the object making contact. The side of the circuit board opposite the connector and components is the side intended for contact.

Phidgets Interface Kit 0/0/8 #1017

Phidgets LED-64 Advanced #1031
The PhidgetLED 64 allows you to independently control 64 Light Emitting Diodes. Each LED can be turned on and off, and its brightness controlled. Most standard LEDs with colors such as red, amber, orange, yellow, and green have forward voltages below 2.75 Volts, and can be used with the PhidgetLED by simply soldering them to a connector-wire and inserting the wire into any PhidgetLED board connector. The forward voltage will default to 2.75V, and the maximum current defaults to 20mA.

The PhidgetSBC2 is a Single Board Computer with an integrated PhidgetInterfaceKit 8/8/8. At its most basic, it can be thought of as a Phidget that you connect using a network cable instead of USB. The PhidgetSBC2 also provides six full-speed ports that allow you to use normal USB Phidgets over its network connection. This can extend the effective range of a Phidget from USBs maximum of 15 feet, to anywhere that your network reaches.

Phidget IR Reflective Sensor 5mm #1102
This sensor uses infrared technology to detect an object at 5mm by determining the difference between low reflective conditions (i.e. black) and high reflective conditions (i.e. white).

This sensor can detect the presence of objects at a distance of 0 to 10cm regardless of the object reflective properties. The 1103 works just as well in both dim and well lit environments.

Phidgets Piezoelectric Vibration Sensor #1104
This sensor buffers a piezoelectric transducer. As the transducer is displaced from the mechanical neutral axis, bending creates strain within the piezoelectric element and generates voltages.

The 1106 reads 0 when no force is applied. As force increases on the circular button the value increases towards 1000.
It is intended as a user input device (i.e. recognizing that someone is pushing a button).

The 1108 is a Hall-effect sensor that provides a voltage output that is proportional to the applied magnetic field.

Phidgets Rotation Sensor #1109
The 1109 can be rotated 300 degrees and outputs a number between 0 and 1000 based on the shaft position. The maximum resistance of the potentiometer is 10K ohm.

Phidgets Infrared Motion Sensor #1111
The 1111 detects changes in infrared radiation that occur when there is movement by a person (or object), which is different in temperature from the surroundings. As this sensor detects temperature differences, it is well suited to detecting the motion of people by their body temperature.

Phidgets 60mm Slider #1112
The Slider 60 is a linear potentiometer - the resistance varies linearly with the position of the slider. SensorValue varies from 0 to1000 over the 60mm travel of the slider. The maximum resistance is 10K ohms.

Phidgets Mini Joy Stick Sensor #1113
This miniature joystick has two axes and a pushbutton. Each axis, up/down and left/right, has a potentiometer with a center value of approximately 500. When you move the Joystick from its center position the value will increase or decrease depending on the direction.

Phidgets Pressure Sensor #1115
The 1115 measures absolute gas pressure from 20 to 250 kPa (2.9 to 36.3 psi) with a maximum error of ±1.5%.
It is suitable for measuring vacuum, or atmospheric pressure; it can also be used as a crude barometer.

The Differential Pressure Sensor is a dual ported gas pressure sensor that measures the pressure difference between the two ports. It can measure both positive and negative pressure from –25kPa to +25 kPa.

Phidgets Touch Sensor 1/2 inch #1129
The 1129 is a capacitive touch sensor and can detect a touch through plastic, glass, or paper. We recommend a material thickness of up to 1/2 inch.

Phidgets Switchable Voltage Divider #1134
The 1134 - Switchable Voltage Divider is a voltage divider with switches. The switches can be used to control which resistors are used in the voltage divider. The resistance values (in Ohms) are 249, 820, 2.61K, 8.45K, 27.4K, 91K, 300K and 1M. It is possible to have multiple switches flipped, putting the corresponding resistors in parallel.

Phidgets Precision Voltage Sensor #1135
The Voltage Sensor measures the differential voltage between the input terminals and outputs the difference proportionally. The maximum differential voltage that can be measured accurately is ±30V.

Phidget Text LCD Adapter (1204)
